Elisa Sagehorn Named 2011 Colorado Spokesperson for Agriculture
Elisa Sagehorn, a member of the Colorado State University ATA/ Young Farmer Chapter is the 2011 Colorado Spokesperson for Agriculture. She was named the winner at the State Institute in Estes Park last February.
She is a graduate of Holyoke High School and was a leader in the FFA Chapter. She served as an Executive Committee member of the Colorado FFA Association during the 2008-2009 year.
At Colorado State University she is an Agricultural Ambassador and Program Chair, a member of the CSU ATA/ Young Farmer Chapter and a member of Collegiate Farm Bureau. Last year she served as a National Collegiate Ag Ambassador for the National FFA organization. She is a junior majoring in Agriculture Education.
Elisa will represent Colorado in the National Agriculture Communications contest in Kansas City, Missouri in December.
