Mountain Plains Farm Credit
Membership Growth and Expansion Project

The Colorado young Farmers are pleased to announce the continuation of the YOUNG FARMER MEMBERSHIP GROWTH AND EXPANSION PROJECT for the 2011-2012 school year. It will again be funded through sponsorship from Mountain Plains Farm Credit and the cooperation of Mike Flesher, Vice President and Corporate Secretary.

The Goal of the program is to increase membership in existing local chapters and the formation of new chapters in the state.

The activities included in the program are as follows:

  1. Distribute a Young Farmer Manual to every new teacher in Colorado.
  2. Provide $175 to each existing local chapter that has paid 2010 state dues for a new membership promotional activity.
  3. Provide $500 to a new chapter for a promotional activity to encourage membership.
  4. Funds would be provided to pay state and national dues for the new members for the first year.
  5. Each chapter receiving funds will submit a summary of the new member promotional activity and the names and addresses of new members.

Each existing and new chapter may request the $175 or $500 for a new member recruitment activity by completing and returning the attached request form during the 2011-2012 school year.
